Mummy Hot Dogs

  • Total Time: 29 minutes
  • Yield: 24 pieces 1x

Description

These spooky Mummy Hot Dogs are made by wrapping mini franks in crescent roll dough and baking until golden brown. Perfect for Halloween parties, they’re easy to assemble, fun to serve, and sure to disappear fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) can crescent roll dough
  • 24 mini franks
  • 24 pairs candy eyes
  • 2 slices cheese optional
  • mustard for decoration
  • ketchup for decoration
  • olive slices or black sesame seeds for eyes alternative

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    2. Unroll the crescent dough and cut into 1/4 inch strips using a knife or pizza cutter.

    3. Wrap each mini frank in dough strips to resemble mummy bandages, leaving a small gap for the eyes.

    4. Place the wrapped franks on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them at least 1 inch apart.

    5. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.

    6. Let the mummies cool for 2 minutes, then dot mustard or ketchup where the eyes will go.

    7. Press candy eyes or olive slices onto the dots to create the mummy faces.

    8. Serve warm with extra ketchup and mustard on the side.
