Description

These low-sugar chocolate mousse cups combine rich dark chocolate and fresh strawberries for a light yet indulgent Valentine’s dessert. They use natural sweeteners and require no baking, making them a healthy and elegant treat.


Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate (70–85% cocoa, low-sugar)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • shaved dark chocolate for garnish

  • Instructions

    1. Rinse and completely dry the strawberries, slicing most and reserving some for garnish.

    2. Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave in low-power bursts, stirring until smooth.

    3. Whip the cold heavy cream with monk fruit sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt until stiff peaks form.

    4. Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream until fully combined and airy.

    5. Layer chopped strawberries and mousse in individual cups, finishing with a top layer of mousse.

    6. Garnish with reserved strawberries and shaved dark chocolate, then chill for 30 minutes before serving.
