This simple no-bake candy cane bark combines layers of rich chocolate and peppermint for a festive homemade treat. Perfect for gifting or serving as a holiday dessert, it requires minimal ingredients and time.

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Melt semi-sweet chocolate in microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth and add 1 teaspoon coconut oil.
3. Spread melted dark chocolate into a 9×12 inch rectangle and chill until firm, about 15 minutes.
4. Melt white chocolate with remaining teaspoon coconut oil and stir in peppermint extract if using.
5. Pour white chocolate over chilled dark layer and gently swirl for a marbled effect.
6. Immediately sprinkle crushed candy canes over the top and press lightly.
7. Refrigerate until completely set, about 30–45 minutes.
8. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
