2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, condensed cream of chicken soup, milk, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until well combined.
3. Stir in 3/4 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese into the chicken mixture. Reserve the remaining 1/4 cup for topping.
4. Pour the chicken and cheese mixture into the prepared 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
5. Unroll the can of crescent rolls and separate the dough into individual triangles. Arrange these triangles over the chicken mixture, forming a top crust. Overlap slightly if needed to cover the entire surface.
6. Sprinkle the reserved 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the crescent roll topping. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the chicken mixture is hot and bubbly.
