This creamy chicken alfredo lasagna bake combines shredded chicken, silky alfredo sauce, and layers of cheese for a comforting family dinner. It’s easy to prepare and delivers rich, homemade flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast shredded
  • 912 lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped optional

  • Instructions

    1. preheat oven to 375°F

    2. season chicken with salt and pepper and heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat

    3. cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F then shred

    4. melt butter in the same skillet and add garlic stirring 30 seconds

    5. whisk in flour to form a roux then slowly add heavy cream and milk whisking until smooth

    6. stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is creamy then season with salt pepper and Italian seasoning

    7. reserve 1/2 cup sauce for topping

    8. spread a thin layer of sauce in a 9×13 baking dish

    9. layer noodles over sauce then add half the shredded chicken and a third of the ricotta mozzarella mixture

    10. repeat layers ending with noodles then pour reserved sauce and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan

    11. cover with foil and bake 25 minutes

    12. remove foil and bake 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly

    13. let rest 10 minutes before slicing and garnish with parsley
